The preparation and expression of PEACE in the WATER is an ongoing miracle example of the “power of the pod”.
So many incredible people have tuned in to offer their unique gifts in support for our ocean planet and the supreme beings who live within. There are many groups and organizations doing amazing work out there on behalf of this cause and we’d like to share a few who have been especially influential and inspiring to us.
If you have an organization which you feel is aligned to the mission of raising planetary consciousness for the benefit of Mother Earth and Humanity, we’d love to hear from you too!
Founded and guided by Chip and Asheyana Richards, New Earth Creations is a multi-medium creative foundation, inspired by the fundamental mission to unify, empower and inspire positive change on planet Earth through creative expression and experience. A gathering of like-spirited individuals committed to lighting new pathways for seeing, being, living and doing in the world - through conscious film, music, visual art, written & spoken word, events and community.
Peace in the Water is the first of a series of NEC global consciousness projects designed to remind humanity how powerful we are when we come together, in peace, for the good of ALL. IT IS TIME... Thanks for bringing your PEACE!

Hardy Jones/Julia Whitty Productions is a leading production company specializing in films on the marine environment. For over 20 years, Hardy and the BlueVoice.org team have been dedicated to informing the world about the marvel of these amazing animals and ending the threats to their lives. We are incredibly grateful to the amazing footage they have shared in creating this site and our “Whales Through the Eyes of Children” TV advertising series… and to the great work that BlueVoice.org continues to do on behalf of our oceans and the supreme beings within.
Wild Focus specializes in capturing wildlife in its natural environment to help heighten people’s awareness of preserving animals habitat.
Over the past six years, they have established the first ever underwater filming operation specializing in capturing the Humpback Whales on film, within their natural environment in Vava’u Kingdom of Tonga. Tonga’s pacific location produces some of the most exotic footage, capturing the rare experience of swimming with one of the world’s most majestic creatures.
Marnie’s incredible footage first came to us through a mutual friend, artist Howie Cooke (co-founder of Surfers for Cetaceans) and we are incredibly grateful – as it is some of the most magical underwater footage we have ever seen and truly captures the essence of “Peace in the Water”.
Gary Woodyard is one of the most talented film editors in Australia with an incredible gift for the emotive flow of vision and sound. The stars aligned for Gary to be able to join the pod and we feel incredibly grateful for his immense creative, soulful contribution to the project. The day we start editing, a group of dolphins showed up right outside Gary’s office window in Port Phillip Bay in the middle of Melbourne -- NOT a common occurence. Gary thought they were coming to check him out… We reckon you’ll be getting a lot more visits from now on, Gaz… Keep your eye out for whales!
True to the way of Cetacea, Tristan and Tai arrived into the project like breeching whales -- at just the right moment and obviously from the depths of some amazing place... for in the blink of an eye they tuned in and created a song that truly captivates the magic intention of the Visual Prayer and Peace in the Water as a whole. The combo of strings and piano was, from the very beginning, like a magic mix of waves and rain...and when they started weaving in the angelic voice of vocalist Maite Fruhinsholz, the whole piece began to feel ... just like PEACE. Truly amazing work guys!

This fresh approach to creating meditative ambience instills in the listener a sense of relaxation and well being induced by the natural harmonics of these “organic” sounds. Their music can be heard in the PitW Gallery and found in the PitW Online Shop!
“After my first contact with the humpback whales, I was inspired to play music accompanied by their mysterious songs. The music was channeled through us in one continuous expression of love and connection. I feel so much gratitude for the wonderful opening that the Cetaceans facilitate in us.”

Established in 1988 by Trish & Wally Franklin, The Oceania Project is an independent, non-profit research organization dedicated to the conservation and protection of whales, dolphins and the oceans. The first phase of a long-term study of the Australian Humpback Whales has been the major work of The Oceania Project. This research continues to be made possible by individuals who participate in The Oceania Project's Internship Program. To date, more than 1,300 interns have joined the annual whale research expeditions. Trish and Wally continue to work tirelessly, publishing scientific papers and submitting reports to the IWC in support of the whales.
The Whalesong Project is dedicated to inspiring stewardship of the ocean and environment by providing meaningful connections to the world's undersea community. It does this primarily by sharing the songs of Hawai'i's whales with the world, live over the Internet, during the islands' humpback whale season (November to June) through our website www.whalesong.net.
Thank you Dan Sythe and the Whalesong Team for sharing this magic with us and the world!
Whaledreamers -- a feature documentary film and winner of eight international film festival awards -- is the heartfelt story of the return of an aboriginal whale dreaming tribe from the edge of extinction and the equally, long journey of the whales, not only to survive the slaughter by man, but to engage the human race into waking up in time. Over fifteen years in the making, across five continents and oceans, Whaledreamers is a personal odyssey for British filmmaker, Kim Kindersley in his quest to find his spiritual roots, while experiencing the extraordinary connection, both ancient and modern, between humanity and the cetaceans. “Indigenous wisdom has never been more relevant for humanity than now” (Julian Lennon)
